Pakistani singer recreates Tauba Tauba: Karan Aujla says ‘uncle na karo please’

Singer Karan Aujla and filmmaker Karan Johar recently reacted to Pakistani singer Chahat Fateh Ali Khan’s rendition of the popular song Tauba Tauba. The original song was sung by Aujla while the film, Bad Newz, featuring the song was produced by KJo’s Dharma Productions.
Chahat shared a video on Instagram where he performed the song in his distinctive style, altering the lyrics to Toba Toba and playing a guitar with the Taj Mahal as his backdrop. Karan Aujla, the original singer of the track, responded to the video, saying, “Uncle na kro (don’t do) please,” accompanied by a crying emoji.

However, Karan Johar shared Chahat’s version on his Instagram stories, calling it a “must watch” with a heart emoji.
The song Tauba Tauba, originally composed, sung, and written by Karan Aujla, featured actors Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri. It was choreographed by Bosco-Caeser and is part of the 2024 comedy film Bad Newz, directed by Anand Tiwari and produced by Prime, Dharma Productions, and Leo Media Collective.
Chahat Fateh Ali Khan, whose birth name is Kashif Rana, is a self-proclaimed singer, musician, entertainer, actor, writer, and director. He gained viral attention earlier for his remix of the song Bado Badi, which led to mixed reactions online. Despite some criticism, he continues to explore music passionately.
